The deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Herashchenko spoke about witnesses of the downing of МН17 plane. He wrote about this on Facebook.

Herashchenko spoke about the information provided by Vitaliy Kropachov.

“In phone call, Vitaliy Kropachov said that one of his comrades had just seen an unusual fighting vehicle on the street of Snizhne settlement. At that time, in the month when Donbas locals have already seen the columns of tanks, armored personnel carriers, “Hrad” systems that were deployed in Ukraine in a huge amounts – this vehicle was unusual. An eyewitness told Vitaliy that it looks like some kind of anti-aircraft missile launcher,” the report said.

Herashchenko noted that he asked Kropachov’s friend to look at photographs of the air defense systems produced by the Russian Federation and by the USSR and compare them with the vehicle he saw. Soon he replied that he recognized a Buk M1 air defense system – he saw exactly this system in the streets of Snizhne. According to Herashchenko, it was possible to take a photo of the Buk-1 air defense system.

An hour later, they sent me a picture taken by one of the residents of Snizhne from the window of his house on the outskirts of the city. His attention was attracted by the sharp noise of the launch of a rocket that hit the Boeing. He managed to take a photo of the inversion trace. From this photo, knowing the location of the house, it was possible to determine the point from where the missile was launched. As far as I know, by this photo Americans and Europeans, using satellites, immediately detected and fixed the exact location of the launch site,” Herashchenko said and added that soon the Interior Ministry spy in Luhansk took a photograph of the same Buk systems being exported to Russia, without one missile.
