The Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs initiates sanctions against the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant. This is reported by the deputy head of the ministry Georgy Tuka on Facebook.
According to him, the sanctions were imposed in May 2018, but for unknown reasons, they were lifted in March of this year. In this regard, the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories initiate the introduction of sanctions against the plant in Transnistria.
The deputy head of the Ministry noted that this plant is located on the territory of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
“The company is located on the territory of Moldavian Republic in the city of Ribnita. According to the agreements reached in a result of “direct negotiations” between Chisinau and Tiraspol, this plant, which uses electrometallurgical technology, gets electricity for free, which leads to dishonest competitive advantages in the market,” Tuka said.
As The Journalist reported, Moldova PM asked Poroshenko to lift sanctions from plant in Transnistria.
