Moldova sends humanitarian aid to eliminate consequences of floods in Ukraine

Ukraine has received humanitarian aid from Moldova to deal with the consequences of the disaster in Bukovina. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.

“Moldova sent humanitarian aid to Bukovina, which suffered from the flood. The humanitarian assistance consists of chainsaws, generators, motor pumps, containers for riverbanks and coastline protection and other equipment that will help to deal with the consequences of bad weather in the region,” the report said.

The humanitarian assistance worth EUR 40,000.

The humanitarian aid was escorted by the Brigadier Mihail Harabajiu, Head of the Civil defense and Emergencies Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
