According to the information on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, an educational forum – All-Ukrainian August Conference «New Ukrainian School – Start of Reform, Community Participation» will be held in Kyiv tomorrow, on August 21.
The forum will be dedicated to the start of the work of the New Ukrainian School. Within the framework of the event, the guests will take part in thematic discussions and panels on the development of inclusive education, improving the qualifications of primary school teachers, etc. It is known that representatives of the State leadership will take part in the event.
Recall that children will go to the first class of the New Ukrainian School in September this year.
«The start of the reform (educational – ed.) was preceded by a large-scale preparation aimed at 3 main changes: the creation of a new educational environment, a new content of education and the retraining of teachers. New content of education was laid through the new State Standard of Primary Education. It defines the requirements for study results and the competence of students: what exactly the child should know and understand after completing the first four classes of education,» – the report said.
It is known that each student will be provided with a set of LEGO «Six Bricks» in order to introduce gaming methods of study to the educational process.
