Law enforcement officers on the Presidential Election Day have recorded 2,199 statements and reports of violations of the electoral process, the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Zoryan Shkiryak reports on the air of Pryamiy TV channel.
The National Police units recorded 2,199 allegations and reports of offenses during the electoral process. The leading number of violations was recorded in Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Further goes Kyiv, Donetsk, Odesa Kharkiv and Poltava oblasts.
According to the assessment center, the most violations (135 cases) are related to illegal agitation. Photographs of ballots (129 cases), probable bribery of voters (45 cases), damage to ballots (35 cases), and attempts to remove the ballot from the polling station (13 cases) were also recorded. In addition, there were 18 false mining reports.
As a result police initiated 39 criminal proceedings.
No systematic violation were taken into account; information on any massive fraud has not been received.
As The Journalist reported, violations at the polling stations in the regions were recorded by a team of one of the candidates.
