Mylovanov announced reduction of industrial production in Ukraine

The Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov has said that industrial production fell by 7.5% in November. He wrote about this on his Facebook page. Facebook.

“Decline in industry production deepened to 7.5% in November 2019 (minus 5.0% in October 2019), taking into account the calendar effect – by 6.9%,” Mylovanov wrote.

According to him, in November the production of investment goods decreased by 9.1%, intermediate goods production decreased by 6.8%, production of consumer non-durable goods decreased by 6.2% and consumer durable goods by 4.5%. For January-November 2019, the cumulative indicator of industrial production decreased by 1.2% (for 10 months of 2019 – 0.6%).

Mylovanov also noted about deterioration of the situation in the coal-mining, engineering, supply of electricity, gas and steam industries.

“The Ministry of Economy is working on signing a memorandum on priority steps, a strategy and action plan for the protection and development of industry; the headquarters also starts cooperating on the current situation with infrastructure, which will include industry, Ukrzaliznytsia and Sea Ports representatives. We have already developed 13 lines of activity, and we will make them public,” the minister said.
