Over the past day, January 24, the Russian occupying forces violated the cease-fire regime nine times, using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. No casualties among the Ukrainian ranks reported. According to intelligence data, on January 24, five occupiers were killed and another one was wounded. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the enemy attacked Ukrainian army positions near the settlement of Vodyane using automatic grenade launchers; the Ukrainian positions near the village of Hnutove was shelled from automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns; from grenade launchers and small arms – near the village Chermalyk; three times from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – near the village of Pavlopil; twice from grenade launchers and small arms – near the town of Maryinka.
In addition, in the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy resorted to 120-mm mortars to attack Ukrainian positions near the village of Krymske.
