JFO: Three militants eliminated in Donbas over past day

Over the past day, the militants shelled Ukrainian positions 13 times positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was injured. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Militants attacked Ukrainian positions near the Pivdenne settlement, using heavy machine guns, anti-tank missile systems, automatic grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy also employed 82-mm mortars and small arms to attack the defenders of Krymske settlement.
“The enemy also shelled the area near the Pisky village, 5 times opened fire from automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Militants attacked Ukrainian positions in the Nevelske area two times, using small arms. In vicinity of Vodyane, the occupiers used small arms and heavy machine guns,” the statement reads.
In the area of Slavne settlement, enemy resorted to small arms, as well as to heavy machine guns and small arms in the area of Krasnohorivka. Militants fired Ukrainian army positions in the area of the Opytne settlement using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
As a result of the combat, one Ukrainian soldier was injured.
In turn, according to Ukrainian intelligence, 3 occupiers were eliminated.
