Some 150 miners went on strike in Donbas

At the SE ‘Selidovugillya’, about 150 miners of the Kurakhovskaya mine refused to do job, demanding repayment of wage arrears, the press service of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine reported.
The miners of the Kurakhovskaya mine joined the protests because of wage arrears and refused to start work.

“At least 150 miners from the Kurakhovskaya mine of the SE Selidovugillya carried out post-shift meeting, went down to the mine bottom, but refused to start work, demanding repayment of wage arrears,” the statement said.

The non-industrial group workers have not received a salary for three months.
According to the Union, the state-owned enterprise in total owed UAH 250 million on wages to miners.
