NABU launches investigation in case of construction of a glass bridge in Kyiv

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) has opened criminal proceedings against a company that was engaged in the project of a pedestrian-bicycle bridge in Kyiv. Employees of the “Engineering Center” are suspected of embezzling funds or abuse of power, Bihus.info reported.

The company did not hold an architectural competition, as required by law. Employees of the Engineering Center may face imprisonment from 7 to 12 years, including deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain types of activities for up to 3 years, with confiscation of property.
