The National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), intends to insist on the announcement of the final suspicion to the head of Ukraine’s Central Election Commission, Mykhaylo Okhendovsky, who is a figurant involved in the «black ledger» case, used by the Party of Regions.
This is reported by «RBC-Ukraine» citing the statement of NABU director, Artem Sytnik.
Sytnik reminded that the case against Okhendovsky was singled out separately from the general mass of the figurants of the «black ledger». However, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office stopped this investigation in connection with the assignment of international legal assignments of other countries .
«The expertise already confirmed the authenticity of Okhendovsky’s signature, and we saw the money came to his card, according to the payment note in the «black ledger book». Detectives were ready to finish this case … Recently, the court canceled the decision to suspend the investigation, and it was restored. Therefore, we will insist that the suspicion be finally announced, and than this case goes to court», – noted the head of the NABU.
As «The Journalist» reported, Sytnik stated that the investigation in Omelyan’s case continues.
