The retail lending in Ukraine increased by 5.8% and by 35% year-on-year in the Q1 2019.
This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.
“As before, private banks issued loans to the population most actively. At the same time, the scale of dollarization of retail loans drop to 29.2%,” the report says.
“The National Bank unchanged expectations for the growth of net lending to individuals in the national currency at more than 30% year-on-year in 2019. Taking into account such loan portfolio growth, the National Bank will assess the associated risks,” the regulator’s website states.
As The Journalist reported, PrivatBank has essentially lost popularity among business for three months.
