NATO standards training for engineers began in Khmelnytska oblast

On May 14, the first six-week training course for the first level demining specialty started at Demining Center of the Main Department for Operational Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Khmelnytska Oblast. This is reported by the press service of Ministry of Defense.

“I am an infantry officer and I rely on my subordinates, on my engineers for safety, mobility, and ensuring viability. Today is an important day for you, you are starting the first level of a pilot, sapper course, which will be fully compatible with NATO standards,” commander of the training and training mission of Operation UNIFIER, Lieutenant Colonel Frederick Koet said.

It is noted that the course will be fully compatible with NATO standards and developed jointly with Canadian and Ukrainian sappers and instructors, taking into account the experience of participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the east of the country.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that in the Rivne oblast large-scale exercises of the army aviation brigades of the Land Forces and Navy of Ukraine were held.
