Yevhen Marchuk: Ukraine paid UAH 80 billion pensions to residents of occupied Donbas over four years

Yevhen Marchuk, Ukraine’s representative in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) for the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas, said that the size of payments of pensions to residents of the occupied Donbas amounted to UAH 80 billion, Donbas News reports.
Since the beginning of the war in the east of Ukraine, the Ukrainian government has paid UAH 80 billion pensions to residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas.

“According to latest information, received three days ago, in almost four years, Ukraine paid UAH 80 billion pensions to people who live in occupied territory … This is equals to almost three billion US dollars,” said Marchuk.

As The Journalist reported, representatives of the UN Monitoring Mission and Amnesty International expressed concern about the delay in investigating of Maidan cases.
