On January 28, 2020, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official exchange rate at UAH 24.59 to dollar, which is UAH 0,26 higher compared to the previous banking day. This is evidenced by the data published on the regulator’s website.
The official hryvnia exchange rate as of January 28 set at UAH 24.5984 per 1 US dollar (UAH +0.2683). At the same time, the dollar exchange rate on January 27 was set at UAH 24.3301 per 1 US dollar.
On the eve of the interbank foreign exchange market opened with the growth of the dollar rate. Compared with the closure of the previous session, it increased by UAH 0,04 to UAH 24.52 per 1 US dollar, the purchase rate to UAH 24.49 per dollar. The euro on sale increased by UAH 0,06 to UAH 27.05 per euro.
