Nestle and Starbucks have concluded a deal whereby Nestle receives a permanent right to sell Starbucks Consumer Packaged Goods and Foodservice products worldwide. About this informs press service of Nestle.

Nestle CEO Mark Schneider said that the company together with Starbucks, Nescafe and Nespresso «unites the most significant brands of coffee in the world».

«Deal will allow the concern and the coffee house chain to use each other’s experience and capabilities to expand the product line for lovers of refreshing beverages», report said.

In addition, it is noted that, according to the terms of the deal, Nestle will transfer 500 Starbucks employees. Note that the agreement significantly strengthens the portfolio of Nestle in the market of premium, ground and portioned coffee in the US.
