The Netherlands Schiphol court complex has ended the first this year’s court hearing in the MH17 case. The next one is scheduled for February 8 at 2P local time, Ukrinform reports.

The court was attended by the relatives of the victims, their lawyers, as well as the defense of one of the four accused GRU officer, Oleg Pulatov, who expressed a desire to join the trial. None of the accused showed up.

The prosecution said that the analysis of the wreckage about which the Russian’s lawyers say has already been carried out and is in the case file. The other wreckage does not play such a big role.

In turn, the Dutch lawyer Sabine ten Doesschate, who represents the interests of Pulatov, stressed during her speech that the defense wants to see all 18 containers of wreckage in order to understand which of Pulatov’s defense may need additional analysis.
