New procedure for entry of persons and transportation of products to the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and exit of persons and transportation of products out of these territories comes into force on November 28.
According to the State Border Service, entry and exit of persons and vehicles, as well as transportation of products to and out of temporarily occupied territories is only allowed through certain checkpoints. The number and location of such checkpoints is defined by the Commander of the Joint Forces.
To cross the delimitation line, foreigners and stateless persons will have to show any document listed in Article 15 of the Law “On Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons” and have a permit for an individual.
Citizens of Ukraine can entry the temporarily occupied territory only if they show the passport of a citizen of Ukraine, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, a temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine on grounds of a permit for an individual.
Entry to the temporarily occupied territory of citizens of Ukraine who have left this territory for paperwork, have to show a certificate issued by the territorial body or the State Border Service of Ukraine.
When leaving the temporary occupied territories, citizens of Ukraine have to show the document confirming citizenship of Ukraine and a permit.
