The United States imposed sanctions against the largest Iran’s main steel producers, as well as their trading agents registered abroad. This was reported by the press center of the US Department of the Treasury.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury has imposed restrictions on four companies operating in Iran’s steel sector.
The largest Iran’s steel producer, the Mobarakeh Steel Company, also was targeted by imposed restrictions.
In addition, sanctions were imposed against four foreign subsidiaries of Mobarakeh Steel Company, one of which is registered in Germany, and three more – in the United Arab Emirates.
