Government of the Netherlands recalled the ambassador from Iran for consultations. This decision was made after Iran declared two Dutch diplomats persona non grata. This is reported by MEHR.
"On Monday, the Dutch government recalled its ambassador to Iran for consultations after the expulsion of its diplomats from the embassy in Tehran," said Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok.
Blok noted that the Netherlands has strong intelligence evidence indicating that Iran was involved in the killing of two Dutch citizens of Iranian origin in Dutch territory. In turn, Iran categorically denies any involvement in the killings in Europe.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the Spanish Prime Minister signed a decree dissolving parliament.
