The militants resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group , the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions four times near Pisky, Lebedynske and Marjinka settlements, using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group , Russian occupation forces attacked 4 times near Horikhove from 120mm mortar (2 shells); near Novotoshkivske from 120mm mortar (4 shells) and from 82mm mortar (14 shells); near Novoluhanske from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
The JFO HQ emphasized that units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.
No casualties among members of the Joint Forces reported.
