Norway to allocate USD 4M for medical reform in Ukraine

The Norwegian government will allocate USD 4 million for Ukraine for the development of the health protection sector, in particular the physical and psychological rehabilitation provided to wounded Ukrainian military personnel. The ambassador of Ukraine to Norway Viacheslav Yatsiuk wrote this on Facebook:

“Ukraine’s Government welcomes Norway decision to implement a joint three-year project in the field of health protection. This decision opens the way to start a new important ​​meaningful and mutually beneficial cooperation between our states.”

The project also provides for cooperation in the protection against infectious diseases, the prevention and treatment of certain types of diseases.
