New fabric production factory to be launched in Chernihiv

New textile plant, based on the territory of the former primary processing wool factory, will be opened in Chernigov and is designed for 150 employees, the press service of the Chernihiv City Council reported.
The new plant will produce cotton fabric. Raw materials will be supplied from Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The project investments amounted to almost UAH 53 million last year, and it is still planned to attract about 100 million by the end of 2019.
“As for now, 24 employees are already involved in equipment adjustment works. Salary is projected at UAH 9,000. We plan to increase number of employees up to 150 persons,” said Volodymyr Yarmolenko, Director of the new enterprise.
As The Journalist reported, the cost of travel in the Kharkiv subway has increased.
