Both Ukrainian teams won at chess Olympiad in Batumi

43rd World Chess Olympiad takes place in Batumi (Georgia).

In the 4th round, Ukrainian women’s team defeated Slovenian team 4: 0, reports sportonline.ua.

Their parties won by playing white figures, Mariia Muzychuk and Anna Ushenina, black – Anna Muzychuk and Julia Osmak.

At this stage team of Ukraine takes the 3rd place, having in the asset 8 team points and 13.5 personal out of 16 possible. Team China and the United States also have 8 points each, but ahead of Ukraine on additional indicators.
In turn, the men’s team of Ukraine won a team of Argentina with a score of 2.5: 1.5. His parties were won by Vasyl Ivanchuk in black and Anton Korobov in white, Yurii Krivoruchko played in black, Pavlo Ilyanov lost with white figures.
After four rounds, the men’s team has 8 team points and 11 personal points.
The team takes 9th place.

In the fourth round, the women’s team of Ukraine will play with the team of Georgia-1, and the men’s team with Spain.
