The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission says three self-propelled howitzers and five "Grad" MLR systems were spotted in the occupied part of Donbas, Eastern Ukraine.

According to the Mission’s spot report covering the period from 19:30 Feb 12 to 19:30 Feb 13, published today on the OSCE website, The SMM continued to monitor the withdrawal of weapons in implementation of the Minsk Memorandum and the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, as well as its Addendum for the withdrawal of tanks with weapons caliber up to 100-mm.

In particular, in uncontrolled areas of Donbas on February 12, an SMM short-range unmanned aerial vehicle spotted three self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122-mm) at a proving ground near the settlement of Sofiyivka (formerly Karlo-Marksovo, 40 km northeast of Donetsk).

At the test site near Sofiyivka, observers also noticed five infantry fighting vehicles (probably the BMP-1) and one armored repair and recovery vehicle (probably the BTS-4A).

Two more armored personnel carriers (MT-LB) were detected in Donetsk.

In addition, on February 13, the mission recorded five multiple launch rocket systems (BM-21 Grad, 122-mm) on the northern outskirts of Crystalne (formerly Krasny Luch, 56 km south-west of Luhansk) and one mortar (unknown type, 120-mm ) at the Pivdenne (63 km north-west of Luhansk).

As The Journalist reported, militants shelled emergency brigade in the Luhansk oblast.
