The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine began its work on Thursday, January 2. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The Office of the Prosecutor General was created instead of liquidated Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine as part of the reform of the system, which began in September 2019, with the aim of increasing public confidence in the prosecutor’s office.

The Office will have 12 departments, 8 separate departments and two specialized prosecutors and will employ 1,500 workers.
