The opening and closing movies of the 10th Odessa International Film Festival (OIFF) became known.
According to OIFF, the opening ceremony will be presented by the French film “La Belle Epoque”, and the closing film is one of the hits of the 69th Berlinale “God Exists, Her Name Is Petrunya”.
In particular, “La Belle Epoque”, directed by Nicolas Bedos was featured at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. The film screening will take place on July 12, the day of the OIFF opening.
The film “God Exists, Her Name Is Petrunya” from the competition program of the 69th Berlin Film Festival, will close the festival. This film of the Macedonian director Teona Strugar Mitevska won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury and the German Art House Cinema Association.
The screening of the closing movie, based on the real events, will take place on July 20th.
