Oleksandr Usyk went down to the 5th step of the world boxing rating

Ukrainian world champion in the first heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk dropped to fifth place in the ranking of the best boxers in the world, regardless of the weight category according to The Ring.

According to unian.ua, Usyk took the fourth place, and on the fifth line he was pressed by the Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue, who competes in lightweight weight. Last week, the Japanese knocked out Puerto Rican Emmanuel Rodriguez in the World Boxing World Series semifinals and united the WBA and IBF championship titles.

The first place in the ranking of the best boxers in the world is taken by the Ukrainian champion of the WBO and WBA versions in lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko.

Recall Usyk’s fight  against the Cameroonian Carlos Takam, which should have been Oleksander’s debut in heavyweight, was postponed due to the injury of the Ukrainian.
