The illegal armed groups violated the cease-fire regime 11 times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area over the past day, May 14. As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, two were injured, the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook.
The enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, automatic small arms and sniper weapons. In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian positions five times near the settlements of Lebedynskoe, Vodyane, Shyrokine, as well as two times near the village of Pavlopil.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever(“North”), the enemy attacked JFO positions six times near the village of Shumy, Novooleksandrivka and two times near Novozvanivka, as well as near Mayorske and Luhanske settlements.
According to intelligence data, on May 14, one occupier was wounded.
As The Journalist reported, the JFO units conducted training in the waters and on the coast of the Azov Sea.
