OSCE mission reports 64 tanks, artillery and mortars in occupied Donbas

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine has spotted a large number of multiple rocket launchers, tanks, artillery, mortars and other weapons in Russian-occupied areas of Donbas.

OSCE reported this in an update based on information received as of 19:30 Kyiv time on March 25, 2019.

So, on March 20 in non-government-controlled areas, an SMM mini-UAV spotted eight multiple launch rocket systems (type undetermined) in a training area near Miusynsk (62km south-west of Luhansk) and two tanks (type undetermined) in a training area near Novoselivka (37km north-east of Donetsk).

In addition, the SMM revealed the presence of four tanks (type undetermined) and five pieces of towed artillery or mortars in a training area near Miusynsk.

On March 20, another 12 tanks of indeterminate type were recorded at the proving ground at Shimshinovka (27 km south-west of Lugansk) and 24 tanks of indeterminate type at the proving ground in the Ternovy area (57 km east of Donetsk)

In addition, on March 19, an SMM mini-UAV spotted 22 tanks (type undetermined) in a training area near Buhaivka (37km south-west of Luhansk), as well as 58 armoured combat vehicles (ACVs).

Also, at the Buhaivka test site were spotted 20 towed artillery or mortar units, as well as 7 self-propelled artillery units.
