OSCE records increase in explosions in Donbas

The Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE SMM) reports that the number of explosions doubled in the Joint Forces Operations (JFO) area. This is stated in the OSCE daily report dated November 18, 2019.

From Saturday evening, November 16, until Sunday evening, November 17, the Mission recorded 470 explosions in Donbas.

The OSCE reports 290 explosions in Donetsk Oblast, the majority of explosions were recorded in areas south-east of Chermalyk. Chermalyk (government-controlled, 77 km south of Donetsk), at easterly directions of Hnutove and southerly of Svitlodarsk.

About 100 explosions were recorded in Luhansk Oblast.

“The majority of ceasefire violations, including the majority of explosions, were recorded in areas south of Kalynove-Borshchuvate (non-government-controlled, 61 km west of Luhansk) and at south-easterly directions of Popasna,” the OSCE said.

As The Journalist reported, OSCE observed 204 explosions in Donbas on Nov 7.
