The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on simplifying the importation of unregistered pesticides and agrochemicals, which are used to conduct state tests and scientific research, has come into force in Ukraine since Jan 4.
The corresponding resolution of November 14, 2018 was published on the government portal.
The decree abolishes the need to coordinate the issuance of an import permit with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Health, and also eliminates the need to obtain a duplicate permit.
At the same time, business entities that have received permission are required to submit reports on the use of imported unregistered pesticides to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health, and, in the case of import of processed seed (planting) material, also to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
The resolution comes into force after 45 days its publication.
