Parliamentary elections in Denmark: preliminary results

In Denmark, during the parliamentary elections in the Folketing, the Social Democrats won, as Reuters reports.

According to the results of 100% ballots counting, the preliminary results of the voting have been announced – the left opposition block received 96 seats against 79 for the ruling Liberal Party and others.

The current Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen admitted defeat and is going to announce his resignation soon. The new prime minister of Denmark will be Mette Fredriksen, chairman of the center-left Social Democratic Party of Denmark.

It should be reminded that in Denmark a member of the “Liberal Alliance” party decided to fight for the electorate in the upcoming elections by placing ads on the popular Pornhub site.
