Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy, stated that he had seen the draft presidential decree on disbanding parliament on the basis of official reason – absence of a ruling coalition.
He said this in the Freedom of Speech show on ICTV channel, responding to questions from experts regarding the use of the scenario of recognizing [by the court] absence of ruling coalition in parliament for over two years, which is the reason for its dissolution.
According to Parubiy, he has information about the preparation of such a scheme.
“I could even see the draft decree on the basis of such comments,” the parliamentarian said, as quoted by the Ukrainian UNIAN news agency.
Parubiy assured that “this political adventure will not have any prospects,” and there will be no early elections. The parliament speaker believes that “any court decision will be appealed”.
As The Journalist reported, Tymoshenko said that Ukraine should urgently form a new government.
