The People’s front faction opposes the early elections, because it believes that the next parliament may be worse than the current one.
This was stated by the head of the People’s front faction Maksym Burbak.
According to the parliamentarian, People’s front faction members believe that the current “Verkhovna Rada should continue to work until the next parliamentary elections.”
“Not a guarantee that the next parliament will be better. When will we have such a pro-European, pro-Ukrainian constitutional majority in this hall?” Burbak stressed.
The head of the faction also noted that the current parliament made many important steps for the development of Ukraine, as regards consolidating Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the EU in the Constitution, as well as signing the Association Agreement with the European Union.
