Yesterday, September 27, an ancient icon of St. George the Victorious, stolen the day before by an unknown person from Kyiv Pechersk Lavra church, was seen when trying to sell it to foreign tourists in the Upper Lavra. Thus, the shrine was returned to the temple in honor of the icon of the Mother of God «Joy of All Who are in Sorrow». The relevant information appeared on the official site of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
