Poland and the NATO have signed the first cybersecurity cooperation agreement, Polske Radio informs.

The document was signed by the Deputy Minister of Defense Tomasz Zdzikot and the NATO’s assistant Secretary General for emerging security challenges Antonio Missiroli.

The agreement provides for continuous cooperation in the field of cyber defense, in particular, the creation of non-stop contact points and a general response to incidents, as well as the determination of the scope of cooperation between the Alliance and Poland.

From now on Poland will now be involved in the development of cyberspace threats early warning systems. Besides, it can rely on the NATO expert advices and cooperation with the arms industry in this area.
