The U.S. Secretary of State has confirmed that he plans to visit Ukraine in the near future. He said this in an interview with Bloomberg, published on the website of the State Department.
To Pompeo, his visit is planned for January 30 or 31.
“Yeah, I am going to get there [to Ukraine – ed.]. I am going to get there before too long. I had a trip planned, and then we had an issue in the Middle East that I had to attend to. While that issue is not behind us and there is still a lot of work to do there, I will to Ukraine before too long,” Pompeo said.
The U.S. Secretary of State also stressed that the United States will continue to provide support and assistance to Ukraine.
