Former President of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity Party, Petro Poroshenko, said that there is no blockade of the Russian-occupied territories of Donbas.
Poroshenko said this in the “Freedom of Speech” program aired on the ICTV channel, the League reports.
“There is no blockade, there is my responsible decision,” Poroshenko said.
According to the former president, “this decision was made in response to the ruble zone introduced within the occupied territory, confiscation of Ukrainian state and private enterprises in favor of Russia.”
The leader of the European Solidarity also stressed that the purchase of goods produced at stolen enterprises, as well as its taxes used for financing of terrorism, is the legitimization of the occupation.
“It is a matter of principle. If we call the entire world for not buying stolen goods and introducing sanctions, while continuing to buy them ourselves, it will lead to legitimization of Donbas occupation. The consequences are devastating,” Poroshenko said.
