Within the framework of the import substitution program, Ukraine has refused to import more than 50,000 items from the Russian Federation over the past two years.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a working visit to the Kharkiv oblast, UNIAN reports.

“Today, 447 enterprises are working in the defense industry of Ukraine. Over the past two years, more than 50,000 product items, which were earlier supplied only from Russia, have been replaced. They thought they would stop our defense industry, stop our army,” said the head of state.

As The Journalist reported, Russia refused to transfer wounded sailors to neutral country for medical treatment.
