The Ambassador of the United States of America to Ukraine, Marie Jovanovich, expressed support for the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) employees, who are working in conditions of actual danger. This is reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine.
It is noted that during the visit, dedicated to the third anniversary of the creation of NABU, the diplomat highlighted both the achievements and problems the anti-corruption bureau of Ukraine faced with.
«You are building cases against some of the most powerful and some of the most corrupt individuals in this country. We recognize the pressure that all of you are under, and sometimes it’s not just pressure, sometimes it’s actual danger. The U.S. stands with you in this important fight against corruption and it stands with all of the Ukrainian people in this fight against corruption. We believe that the success of your mission is critical to building the new Ukraine,» – Jovanovic stressed.
As The Journalist reported, the SBU said the NABU detectives were preparing a sex provocation against the employee of the National Bankof Ukraine.
