President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky heard a report by the emergency operations center on the crash of Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) Boeing-737 in Iran. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Several versions of the causes of the plane crash are being considered. At the same time, the participants of the meeting chaired by Volodymyr Zelensky, noted that while information should not been manipulated before the investigation of the circumstances of the tragedy.
“Psychological assistance is being provided to the relatives of Ukrainians who were killed in Iran. The state will ensure that families receive all insurance payments,” the message says.
DNA of relatives of fallen Ukrainians is being collected.
Today, Zelensky will hold phone conversations with officials of countries whose citizens killed in the tragedy.
