Putin gave Yanukovych the state security

The fleeting president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, enjoys state security in Russia, said Putin’s press secretary, Dmytro Peskov.

According to Interfax, protection was provided to him by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, who signed the corresponding decree when Yanukovych entered the territory of Russia.
At the same time, the press secretary found it difficult to clarify exactly which structure protects the ex-head of Ukraine.
We will remind, earlier Yanukovych declared that recently he receives information about the attempted assassination attempt on him.
