Ukraine’s Intelligence: Russia deployed another batch of military equipment and weapons in Donbas

Another batch of 122-mm D-30 howitzers and BTR-80 armored personnel carriers was secretly delivered from Russia to the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

This was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Colonel Dmytro Gutsulyak, referring to the Ukrainian intelligence data.

Thus, Russia continues to secretly increase supply of weapons, military equipment and ammunition for the needs of the formations and units of the 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Luhansk) Army Corpuses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation through uncontrolled parts of the border in eastern Ukraine.

"At the same time, the command of the RF Armed Forces increased the number of inspections by commissions to strengthen control over the activities of the Russian occupying forces, which is associated with the large number of unregistered weapons and ammunition in units, as well as with rotational measures taken by commanders of the 1st and 2nd Army Corpuses," said the speaker.

Gutsulyak also added that from January 25, at the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts the integrated commission of the ground forces command of the Russian Armed Forces continue its work in order to check the staffing, as well as the state of combat readiness of formations and units of the Russian occupation forces.
