Reconstruction of the Bortnychi Aeration Station is going according to the plan and under the constant control of the Kyiv city authorities and the management of PJSC Kyivvodokanal, the KSCA reports.
“After the reconstruction of the Bortnychi Aeration Station, the capital of Ukraine will have a modernized station which will meet international standards. After all, the most infrastructure project in Ukraine in the field of housing and communal services is carried out in accordance with international procedures and with the involvement of Japanese consultants. This was reported by PJSC Kyivvodokanal,” the message reads.
The company recalled that the modernization of the aeration station is carried out under an international agreement and at the expense of loans provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
“The start of construction work is scheduled for late H1 of 2021, the deadline is 6 years,” the Kyiv City State Administration informed.
Bortnychi Aeration Station is a complex of engineering structures, equipment and communications, located on an area of 151 hectares in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. It is simply impossible to carry out a large-scale reconstruction of such an object in a short time. The station was designed in 1955, and its construction started in 1959. At the same time, the first stage of the station was launched in 1964.
