Red Cross transferred almost UAH 287,000 assistance to medical center in Novi Sanzhary

Ukrainian Red Cross Society has transferred almost UAH 287,000 aid to citizens evacuated from China to the medical center of the National Guard “Novi Sanzhary”. This was reported by the press service of the organization.

“Almost UAH 287,000 were collected and transferred to the Medical Center of the National Guard of Ukraine “Novi Sanzhary”, where were evacuated 72 people from China, and 22 crew members and accompanying medical personnel,” the statement said.

The Red Cross Society is part of the operational headquarters in Novi Sanzhary. It coordinates and receives assistance from volunteer organizations, companies, population; buys everything needed for people who are on observation, and transfers it to the medical center.

The medical center restricts transferring of food to persons who are under observation, for safety reasons; the organization transferred about 300 kg of food to boarding schools and orphanages of a family type.
