Research&Branding Group publishes Ukraine’s unemployment rate

According to Research & Branding Group survey, over the past three years a third of Ukrainians (31%) found themselves unemployed or were looking for a job for more than three months.

Most often, the unemployed category includes young people under 30, rural residents, as well as residents of the western and southern regions of Ukraine.

According to the survey, 14% of the population of Ukraine are looking for work.

The proportion of those seeking work among men is slightly larger than among women.

Depending on the locality and region of residence, rural residents, as well as residents of the south and especially the west of Ukraine, are a little more busy looking for work.

The study was conducted from September 7 to 16, 2019 among 2,001 respondents across Ukraine, except the occupied territories.

As The Journalist reported, unemployment rate continue to decline in Ukraine.
