Social Policy Minister Andriy Reva stated this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, April 12. UNN reports.
“While as part of the pension reform, an increase for all Ukrainian citizens amounted to about UAH 500 on average, a decision was made in early 2018 on the gradual increase in pensions for servicepersons and other representatives of law enforcement agencies,” Reva said.
The minister explained that from January 1, 2018, the first stage of this increase amounted to UAH 1,500 on average, from January 1, 2019 – another UAH 750 on average, and from January 1, 2020 – another UAH 750 on average.
“Thus, the step-by-step pension provision should double the pensions for servicepersons,” added Reva.
As The Journalist reported, Reva revealed the average size of pensions at the beginning of March.
