Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Yevhen Kravtsov, said that the high-speed express train, plying between Kyiv and Boryspil International Airport, have made 6,000 trips. This is reported by the press service of the company.
“We managed to realize a really high-quality and sought-after project. Recently, on January 26, we met a hundred-thousandth passenger, and today we have already transported twice as many. We predict that with the beginning of the holiday season in May-August, Kyiv Boryspil Express will transport even more passengers, and we are already preparing for this period,” he said.
The report says that, in average, Kyiv Boryspil Express transports about 50,000 passengers per month. According to available statistics, passengers most often choose Kyiv Boryspil Express on Friday and Wednesday.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrzaliznitsia will not raise ticket prices this year.
