Ryanair plans to increase number of flights to Ukraine in autumn, 2019

The Irish company Ryanair, plans to double the number of routes and flights to Ukraine (compared to last year) due to the growing interest of Ukrainians in air travel, the avianews.com reported.

Thus, the route network of the low-cost airline consisted of 17 destinations from Kyiv and Lviv in November 2018. In November 2019, the company plans to expand its network by 40 more routes from Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv.

At the same time, the number of flights from Ukraine will be increased from 52 to 113 per week.

Also, in 2019, the Ryanair will increase its fleet, used for scheduled flights with 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft; low-cost cargo containers on flights in Ukraine in November 2019 will amount to 42,714 seats (both directions) per week. In November 2018, this figure was 19,656 seats per week.

As The Journalist reported, Ryanair began flying from Kharkiv. Odesa is next in line.
